Apologies to people who actually get real injuries while working out

Philip and I have been running on a rough, steep, limestone hill near our house for the last few months. This last week, I had two incidents of tripping on rocks and falling (think of the motion of sliding into home plate, arms/chest first). I didn't hurt myself seriously, only bruises, skinned palms, knees and this nasty scrape.

Yeah I know, it isn't bad, but as a bookworm who hasn't done a lot of working out, physical activity, or going outside my whole life, it is really strange to realize that I'm doing an activity that could give me more than a papercut.
