He meaning God, He meaning Ghost

I guess I don’t pay enough attention to capitalization in poetry, because most of the time when a poet capitalizes “He” or “Him” meaning God, I never notice. I always think the “Him” is a ghost or alien or someone with special powers--whenever someone writes about God, he is usually doing something super-human or ghostly.

I even sent a poem to a friend of mine, telling her it was really cool and I wanted her to look at it because I thought she would like it. I hope she didn’t think I was trying to push religion on her.
