A magical forest where people get in shape

It is surreal to workout in the gym at my apartment complex.

They play country music at work (torture).

The speaker in the lobby broke, so now I don't have to hear it anymore (I wish this happened before I accidentally learned the words to about 10 country songs).

Right vs. Left

Here is a really interesting test from the Daily Telegraph. If you are using your left brain, the woman in the image spins counterclockwise, if using your right, the woman spins clockwise.

It is really disconcerting when your brain switches from one side to the other and her spinning changes direction.

I looked at the test a couple times while I was writing this and I had a few left brain spins and back to right brain spinning.

I look at these photos every day.

I know it's been up for awhile, but I recently discovered this Cute Overload post and I can't handle its cuteness.

My boss at the pet resort has a weird-looking, fluffy mutt dog. At work, there is a running joke that his breed is “Chewbacca.”

She told me that she was talking to this dog snob who went on and on about how great pure breed dogs are and how mutts suck. The woman then asked my boss about her dog’s breed, and she told her that he was a “Chewbacca.” The woman replied, “Yes, that's an excellent breed.”

I just got Herzog's Incident at Loch Ness

I can't believe the back of the DVD actually says "Un-loch the secrets of the film."

(It's a fun movie, BTW).

This photo looks staged

I made this frame in my glass fusing course. Now all I have to do is get sailor hats for Philip and me, take a portrait, and send it to my mom. (Since all my photos are on my computer, I don't really need a frame, especially a glass one that will get knocked over all day).

PS Dinah is super nosy and has to investigate whenever I take a photo. It's funny that she is posed in a way that hides her huge stomach.

Brain Age 2 seems a lot harder than the original.

The trials: alternating winning and throwing games of rock/paper/scissors, tracking foot races, Billy Joel impersonation, everyone talking at once, cashier training.
