New Apartment

Now that we live in a smaller (but awesome) apartment, I get to display my books horizontally in the "crazy reclusive reader" fashion that I've admired for so long in the movies and on tv. I can't wait until I have enough books to extend this look throughout my whole house (I know, I know--I'll get there someday.)

The Cat Channel

The vet called after my cat's checkup to say that his bloodwork is "fabulous." She also said that he has the body of a two-year-old cat (He's nine).

Mortal Enemies

My cat's once bountiful and luxurious feather duster toy has been reduced to a single sad feather.

Perfect Timing

Most of my poetry magazine subscriptions are ending soon, and I was not going to renew them since I am trying to take it easy on spending money. However, yesterday I got unexpected money for cat-sitting, so now I can renew a lot of them.

Now I just have to decide which ones.
